Sheik
If you don't know your Legend of Zelda lore, this is Sheik. A mysterious character from the game "Ocarina of Time". I'm part of a collaborative Smash Bros piece and this is my contribution. I'll post the final image once it's all assembled.
Homer Simpson / Krusty the Clown / Radioactive Man
I remember hearing that Homer, Krusty, and Radioactive Man are all based on the same character design because it was supposed to be ironic that Bart didn't respect his father, but his two heroes were actually slight variations of his father. Homer is often quite clownish and he works at the nuclear power plant making him, quite literally, a radioactive man.
I plan on making an actual animated version of this eventually.
Seth and Lizzy Talk About Music
Have I ever mentioned my podcast here? I don't think I have. Well, it's called "Seth and Lizzy Talk About Music" or "SALTAM" for short. Every season our logo is a different album cover with mine and Lizzy's faces worked in somehow. This year was The Moldy Peaches self titled album.
If you like music, you should check it out. [itunes] [tumblr page]
New Painting
Here's a (terrible) photograph of my latest painting, "Solution (Solved in 20 Steps)". I made it for the Degenerates III show. It was a great turnout this year. Thanks to everyone who came out.
Squidbilles Stuff
It was a lot of fun working on this last season of Squidbillies. Here are a couple of remnants I had on my computer.
This was a little dance I animated for one of my favorite characters, Gaga Pee Pap (voiced by Jesco White). My boss, Dave, vined it during one of the review meetings.

And, look! It's me! I was in a few crowd scenes during this last season.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Commercials
Here are a couple of Aqua Teen Hunger Force commercials I worked on. Seriously, it was a dream come true to work on this show. I also worked on Season 11. That season starts airing this June (I think).
Happy Halloween / Don't Forget to Vote
I drew this last Halloween when I was watching a lot of Treehouse of Horror episodes of The Simpsons. This image is in reference to the segment "Citizen Kang". Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.
Bill Plympton's "Your Face" Global Jam
I contributed to my second global jam for Bill Plympton. Many animators from around the world re-animated a shot from Bill's original short, "Your Face". Here are a few stills from my contribution. I'll post the final video once it's public.
The Death of the iPod Classic
Last September it was revealed that Apple was going to stop making the iPod Classic. I was/am devastated by this news. I had to commemorate my sadness as soon as I heard.
Robin Animation
I was doing some freelance work for a friend of mine by designing and animating a robin for a production company bumper. It turned out it was for Robin Roberts new company, Rock'n Robin Productions. It was pretty neat to see something I drew up on giant billboards in Times Square.
Tattoo Designs
I can never tell if a tattoo artist appreciates it or hates it when their customers bring in designs for them. My guess is the latter. Either way, here are a couple of tattoos I wanted that the kind folks down at 13 Roses in EAV inked onto me.
I'm from Oregon, so I wanted a reminder of home now that I live on the east coast. This is my favorite sign in downtown Portland. It's up above Old Town and known as the "White Stag" sign. When I was growing up there, it used to say "Made In Oregon", now it says "Portland Oregon". Mine is blank in the middle (as you can see).
I've been working as an animator for a long time, so I really wanted a tattoo that referred to animation in some way. This is the owl from the opening of the Walt Disney Silly Symphony short, "The Skeleton Dance" (animated by Ub Iwerks). "The Skeleton Dance" has been one of my favorite shorts of mine forever, Ub Iwerks is a big time hero of mine, and I really like owls. This one was a no-brainer.
Time for the annual catch-up post.
Has it really been almost a year since I posted last? Sorry about that. I think I said this last time I was apologizing, but if you want to keep up with me on a more immediate basis, follow my tumblr. I update it on a (slightly) more regular basis. I've been up to some really neat stuff though, so I'll post about some of it tonight. I've been on a few different shows since I last posted. I worked on Squidbillies for a bit, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and I just finished up season 6 of Archer. It's all been really great.
