Count Duckula Poster

This is my entry for the second Nincompoop Collective Zine. Since most of the contributors are animators, the theme was cartoons that inspire us. Cosgrove Hall cartoons were a big favorite of mine as a kid, so I decided to re-make my favorite Dracula poster with Count Duckula and Danger Mouse.

Degenerates 2 Art Show

Are you in Atlanta? All this month, come look at a bunch of art made by the animators and illustrators from Floyd County Productions. These two paintings were my contribution. I know the top painting is sold, but the bottom one might still be available.

(The flyer was made by Killamari, and I stole the photo from Kevin Mellon's blog.)

Baseball Card Thing

Here's a baseball card thing I made for the Floyd County Sketchblog.

Rabies Zine Piece

This was my piece for the first Nincompoop Collective zine. I'm working on zine #2 now. Woo.

Book Inlay Pattern

This is an in-progress pattern for the inlay of a zine. It contains all 26 letters of the alphabet. I was playing with color and turned it into a gif.

A Sample From A Work In Progress

I'm finishing up a piece for a zine today. This zine will consist of a bunch of Atlanta based animators doing alphabet type things. I'm sure I'll post the whole thing soon, but in the meantime, here's a sample.

Judge John Hodgman

Judge John Hodgman recently ruled on a dispute between my wife and I in New York Times Magazine (I lost). It put me in the mood to do some Judge John Hodgman fan art. The image is based on an old soviet propaganda poster.

Grimes (Claire Boucher)

I don't have a name for these geometric/polygon portraits I keep doing, but here's another one. Coincidentally, I think it's Grimes' birthday today.

Janelle MonĂ¡e

I made 3 or 4 GIF versions of this portrait too, but I didn't love how any of them turned out. Maybe I'll find something I'm happy with later.

Rosamund Hanson

I've been wanting to do a portrait of Rosamund Hanson for a while now. If you've never heard of her, go watch "This is England" or "Life's Too Short". She's really great in both of those.
